Many people across northeastern Oklahoma awoke Tuesday morning to rain and winds.

The winds weren't extremely strong in Mayes County, only 50 to 60 MPH, but they did leave behind damage.

Residents are already out cleaning up some of the mess. SkyNews 6 caught this downed tree near Spavinaw.

Besides the winds, heavy rains fell across parts of the area. This is rain in Catoosa just before sunrise Tuesday.

Catoosa received about half an inch of rain.
