Tulsa Police and Osage County Sheriff’s deputies looked over three scenes Monday to track down details after a shooting on the northwest outskirts of Tulsa.

News on 6 anchor Terry Hood says it all starte at around 10:30 AM Monday.

Osage County Sheriff Ty Koch tells the News on 6, a fight started at a home over the custody of a 11-year-old girl. The sheriff says resident William Grundy had custody of the girl.Grundy's son - Moniquo - came to the house and threatened his father, and the two fought. Somehow, guns were introduced to the fight.

Sheriff Koch says 3 or so shots were fired from a shot gun and 3 or 4 more from a pistol. Moniquo Grundy was had buckshot in his back, neck, and leg. William Grundy was taken into custody on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill.

After the shooting, Moniquo Grundy made it to another location, where an ambulance took him to the hospital.

EMSA tells the News on 6, he was transported in serious condition.

Sheriff Koch says his deputies are still putting together all the facts. "There is one witness. We're interviewing him, gathering the information."

The sheriff says Moniquo Grundy was treated and released at the hospital. His father is in Osage County jail in Pawhuska.
