OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- County officials warn that oil interests are trying in the final days of the Oklahoma Legislature to revive a bill that will cost counties and schools up to $100-million in property tax revenue.
Dave Herbert of the County Government Legislative Council says language to make some oil field equipment exempt from property tax could be inserted into one of several bills.
President Jeremy Rich of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association did not immediately calls for comment.
