OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A rifle stolen by Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols is going on sale on the Internet.

The rusted, .50-caliber sniper rifle was stolen in November 1994 from former gun collector Roger Moore at his home near Royal, Arkansas. It was found last year and returned to Moore earlier this year.

Moore now lives in Florida and says he needs no reminders of the day he was robbed and that it's wrecked ten years of his life.

He plans to advertise the gun on the Internet at www.auction.com a "curio" as an item connected to the 1995 bombing.

Moore says the rifle is worth $4,000 in good condition. He says it may sell for up to $3,000.

An FBI report says Nichols told agents he hid the gun near a creek in Kansas after stolen blasting caps were found buried under his former house in Herington, Kansas.

Prosecutors say bomber Timothy McVeigh urged Nichols to rob Moore to help finance the bombing plot.

Nichols is now serving life in prison for his role in the bombing. McVeigh was executed in 2001.
