PITTSBURG, Okla. (AP) -- Residents have been told to boil their water before drinking it after the state Department of Environmental Quality found bacterial contamination in the town's water supply.
The town, which has 260 residents, gets its water from Pittsburg Lake. Coliform bacteria was found in the water.
The DEQ was sending personnel to Pittsburg to try to trace the problem with the water.
