The race for Tulsa's district 5 city council seat is headed to the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
Democratic candidate Jon Kirby is asking the state Supreme Court to throw out the results of the April election and order a new one.
Republican councilor Bill Martinson won the election and a later recount by 21 votes. A
Tulsa County judge also ordered a new election because people who don't live in the district said they voted. She later reversed her decision saying there is no evidence those people voted in the city council race.
