Tulsa Police are searching for the driver of a Dodge Intrepid who crashed into a gas meter then took off on foot.

It happened around 3:30 AM Monday near 32nd and North Lewis.

Investigators aren't exactly sure what caused the crash but say it caused a heavy gas leak.

ONG officials were called out to stop the leak.

Police are still investigating.
