A longtime Little League football team might have to forfeit the rest of its season because of a disagreement over the league's rules.

Blue-T football draws its players from both the Webster and the Sand Springs school districts. But the league says you can only have players from your particular school district.

The problem is Blue-T's not a school, and it is the "only" team in the league that's not sponsored by a school district. If the league and Blue-T can't agree, the kids might be on the sidelines. The league president says the rule has always been in place, but not enforced.

Blue-T officials say they should have made up their minds before the season started. Blue-T Football president Tara O'Niell: "The first preseason meeting was June 10th and our first game wasn't until September 10th, they had more than enough time to decide what our boundaries were before we stepped out onto the football field."

The kids might also be out their $80 fees, because the money has already been spent on uniforms.
