The nation's largest retailer is experimenting with "health care" and it could soon be available at a store near you. RediClinic opened its first Oklahoma location in the Owasso Wal-Mart Supercenter Thursday.

The staff says customers have been shocked to find a medical clinic that is open on weekends, doesn't need appointments, and the average visit takes only 15 minutes. Managers say the clinic's biggest advantage is convenience.

Mary Batiste FNP-C, RediClinic Family Nurse Practitioner: "We do a lot of health screenings, such as physicals, sports physicals, ages 2 and up. We treat pretty much all illnesses that require a prescription."

Wal-Mart senior vice president Glenn Habern: "We think we are good enough for anybody, not too good for anyone."

RediClinic is set to open its second Oklahoma location in Broken Arrow in just a couple weeks.
