Valerie Stefan, with Tulsa's "Groovy Threads" clothing store at 1513 East 15th Street, decided she wanted to help New Orleans residents affected by the hurricanes.

She had a clothing drive and matched the items donated with new items from her store to help the evacuees. The only problem is, she has no way of getting them there.

Valerie Stefan: "You know I don't have enough for the whole world but if you could just help two or three families it's a big deal, and they need it, and they do need clothing, that's a big myth, people down there do need clothing, they lost everything, I just got to get it there."

If you'd like to help Valerie, you can reach her at 588-1970.
