Millions of dollars are coming back to Oklahoma taxpayers. The state will mail out tax rebate checks between the end of November and mid-December.

Every person who paid income tax in Oklahoma will get a rebate of about $45. Couples will get about $90.

The rebates come from a revenue surplus at the state Capitol. The surplus is fueled in large part because of higher energy prices.

State officials are taxpayers to make sure the Oklahoma Tax Commission has your correct mailing address. You can do that on-line at the state's web site.
