A Broken Arrow lightning strike victim is laid to rest.

Funeral services for Sam Shannon were held Friday afternoon. He had been in the hospital for nearly 4 months after he and a friend were struck by lightning under a tree in Broken Arrow.

Sam died last Tuesday. It was his 14th birthday.
