Hundreds of people walked through the Brookside neighborhood Thursday evening, to help raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The event was called 'Light the Night'. News on Six reporter Diane White was co-chair of the event and says the American Red Cross also sponsored a blood drive in connection with the event. Money raised will help to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and other blood-related cancers.
