Tulsa County fairground officials will discuss the future of the Tulsa Flea Market Tuesday.

Some vendors are already worried about possible changes that could hurt their business. The flea market's been around for more than thirty years. Five years ago officials started charging a dollar to get in.

That money was supposed to fix up the Exchange Building that houses the flea market. Now there are plans to tear down the building to make way for a new one. Vendor Kay Sharp: "If they tear the building down they're talking about putting us in the stadium and we're not happy about that. It's small and kinds underground- feel like we're being rushed out."

Kay Sharp says it would take $75,000 to tear down the building. She says that money could be used to build a new roof. Sharp says moving would hurt the flea market's 250 vendors. She says they generate more than $100,000 a year.
