A federal grand jury has indicted 10 people in connection with a suspected gun trafficking scheme.

The scheme involved the purchase of more than 200 semi-automatic handguns at Tulsa and Broken Arrow gun dealers and gun shows by "straw purchasers."

A straw purchaser is someone with a clean criminal record who buys a firearm for someone who's prohibited. The guns were then transported to Baltimore, Maryland and sold on the street.
