BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) _ Barbra Streisand's 60th album, ``The Movie Album,'' has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, her publicist said.

It is Streisand's 30th album to gain that distinction, according to a statement Friday from Guttman Associates.

Platinum means more than 1 million copies have been sold.

The album, released by Columbia, includes 12 recordings backed by full orchestra.
