Officials at Tinker Air Force Base received a bioterrorism threat Wednesday. But don't worry, it was all for practice.
Fire, police, medical and several other state agencies were on hand for Wednesday's exercise. The training included a plane flying over the air base to drop a powdery substance.
Officials said the number one issue is communication and for every department to understand each other better.
Head of the Exercise, Captain Christopher Hall: “And what we want to do, uh, is pull in our community partners, and to get together and work on how we communicate, in the event that something like this happens."
Officers are required to practice a "weapons of mass-destruction exercise" at least once a year. Officials said they feel more prepared after every exercise.
