JAY, Okla. (AP) _ Delaware County prosecutors have arrested a Grove man on charges of first-degree rape and forcible sodomy for allegedly having sex with a 12-year-old girl.

An arrest warrant was issued Friday for Waylon Lee Burleson, also known as Waylon Lee Rush. The 18-year-old was in custody as of Sunday morning.

According to court affidavits, Burleson had sex with the girl on or about Sept. 4.

He drove the girl from the fairgrounds where she was working in a concessions booth and had sex with her along a county road, the documents state.

Burleson has been arrested previously on charges of assault and battery on law enforcement officers, trespassing and second-degree rape.
