(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Investigators are looking into the death of a Clinton man.

A police officer found the body of 44-year-old Lanny Adams about 7 AM Saturday in an alley in Clinton.

Jessica Brown with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says the officer saw someone in the alley and came upon Adams when she went to investigate.

The OSBI has been asked to help in the probe.

Brown says the death is considered suspicious, but investigators don't know if he died naturally or was a victim of a homicide.

She says there was trauma to the body.
