Two people are in the Tulsa County jail after allegedly robbing a store late Tuesday night.

Tulsa Police say they searched the area at 16th and Peoria. They stopped a red car that matched the description of a car leaving the scene.

Police took a 21-year-old man into custody. Officers say he told them about the other suspect, who officers later arrested.

Investigators say the robbery victim is lucky to be alive. Tulsa Police Sgt Dave Roberts: â€œthe victim said that before the suspects left that the one that was holding the pistol tried to fire a shot at him but the gun apparently malfunctioned.â€

The victim was not hurt. Police are still looking for a weapon.
