(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A national children's magazine ranks the Oklahoma City Zoo as the 3rd-best zoo in the nation for children.

"Child'' magazine says it evaluated more than 150 institutions as part of its survey. Categories in the survey include whether the zoo has a children's zoo, educational programs for school trips and summer vacation.

The zoos are also rated on family conveniences such as diaper-changing tables and security and safety measures.

Number 1 on the list is the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida. The San Diego Zoo ranks 2nd.
