(Phoenix-AP) -- Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry says Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry's winning campaign tells him he can win.

Kerry said at a fund-raiser in Phoenix Thursday night that Henry's win over Republican Steve Largent shows tenacity, hard work and having the right agenda and talking with people will pay off with a victory.

Henry is in Phoenix for the Democratic Leadership Council's convention.
