North Tulsans may soon have the freedom to buy groceries in their own neighborhood. The area has not had a grocery store since the Albertson's at Pine and Peoria closed in June. According to its web site, Trinity Grocery Investments, LLC plans to bring Freedom Mart to north Tulsa.

The website also says the investors are from north Tulsa. The group won't say when the grocery store will open, but the hunt is on for employees.

A job fair will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Rudisill Library at 1520 N. Hartford, between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Most positions start at more than $8 per hour.
