Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were looking for a suspect in a deadly hit and run accident Saturday morning. Troopers received a call about 7:00 a.m. that there was a body lying on the shoulder of westbound Highway 412 near the 65th West Avenue exit. When they arrived, troopers found a white male in his late 30's or early 40's dead on the side of the road.

Trooper Ricky Humdy tells the News On 6 that the man was walking partially in the roadway when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. Trooper Humdy says there is not a description available, but the vehicle will have front end damage and possibly damage to the windshield.

The victim's name has not been released. All but one lane of traffic was closed in the area while investigators searched the scene for evidence.
