It's hard to believe that right here in Green Country lives the largest bull sharks in the world- in captivity that is. We decided to stop by the Oklahoma Aquarium and witness these majestic creatures ourselves.

When first looking at the large tank that houses the so-called man-eaters, it's hard not to be in awe!

First time visitor, Leonard Scheumack told us he was impressed!

"It's pretty neat, it's something else! I'll definitely have to come back with my wife next time to see it again," said Scheumack.

These sharks only eat twice a week - on Mondays and Thursdays.  We lucked out by showing up just in time and we even got to go behind the scenes!

We found out they‘re fed filets of fish that are injected with vitamins in order to keep the sharks in top shape.

Biologist Christa Clawson deals with the sharks every day, so what sparked her interest?

"It's just exciting to know they that do all have personalities and they do react differently," said Clawson.

Once the lights come on, the sharks know its chow time.

We expected a feeding frenzy, but it turns out at the dinner table these guys are gentle giants.

It's truly unbelievable that this scene is available right here in the Sooner state.

If you are interested in getting the behind the scenes look at the feeding as well, you can purchase a pass by contacting the Oklahoma Aquarium at the web address on this page!
