Devour Downtown Wraps Up

Devour Downtown wrapped up on Sunday night and seems to have paid off for some of the area businesses.  McNellie's is just one of more than a dozen restaurants to offer specials this past week.

McNellie's manager says he's seen a big boost in customers.  But, it wasn't just about getting people in the door.

"We got a lot of people that normally wouldn't have come down here.  We definitely drew in a crowd that wasn't used to even being in downtown," said McNellie's Manager Bobby Roberson.

That's what Devour Downtown was all about, giving people a taste of what downtown has to offer and hoping they come back for seconds.
