There are new developments in the plane crash that killed two Oklahomans Saturday night.  The plane went down in McClain County, north of the Lindsay airport.  The News On 6 has learned the pilot was 53- year-old, William "Bronc" Jackson, who owned a vet clinic in Lindsay.

The other victim, Joe Grimes, is from Maysville.  Both victims were found about 25 feet from where the plane landed.

First responders say the wreckage was so mangled it took a few hours for investigators to figure out who the plane belonged to and who was on-board.

Family and friends say the pilot was a businessman with a long list of community service and his friend was also an experienced pilot and mechanic.  The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are trying to find out what went wrong.

"It was part of an instructional flight. The pilot was receiving a flight review," said Leah Yeagar with the NTSB.

A preliminary report from the NTSB should be available by next Friday.
