Calvin Walls likes to make his voice heard.

"He's the vocal leader of the team," said TU head coach Doug Wojcik.  "He's got a lot of energy. He's one of those people where the glass is always half full and boy you love to be around positive people."

Walls doesn't need to talk a good game - he averages nearly 10 points and eight rebounds per outing.

"He's just really picked up his game from last year," said Wojcik. "He's been called upon to do a lot of things for us."

"It's just so good to see him develop just know where he's come from just to have success at this level," said TU sophomore guard Ben Uzoh.  "Being around Calvin has helped us grow a lot."

After starting out his college basketball career at Wichita State then heading to the junior college ranks, TU has been a perfect place for Walls to call home.

"The people around Tulsa and the people around campus they welcome newcomers so easily," said Walls. "Coach Wojcik is another energy guy like me. He's a passionate guy about the game and he shows that on the court.  I feel like that's a perfect fit for me."

Now with only a few games left in his college basketball career - Walls perfect ending is just having fun.

"I want to enjoy my teammates, the coaching staff and the students - the teachers," said Walls. "I just want to enjoy my whole college experience and live it up because it's an experience not a whole lot of people get to have in their lifetime."
