Senator's Daughter A Rising Star

The Tulsa Opera premiered Lakme on Saturday night at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.  An opera about how cultures collide in a story of star-crossed lovers.

Sarah Coburn, a Muskogee native and rising star plays the title role.  She also has another significant role as Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn's daughter.

Sarah has performed all over the world and most recently made a lot of buzz in the Opera world.
