Oklahoma's Role In Iraq

Oklahoma's highest-ranking military officer says even if a new president pulls American troops from Iraq, our state will continue to play a major role in Iraq.

Major General Harry Wyatt says even if Oklahoma Army National Guard troops are pulled, there will still be a need for state Air National Guard forces.

Units from both the Oklahoma Army and Air Guard have served steady deployments for the past five years.
