Tulsa police officers have a life-saving message for parents with small children. Make sure they're buckled up properly.
Officers performed car seat checks on Saturday, gave out educational information and even gave away new car seats to families in need.
"We can never predict when a wreck is going to take place so we have to make sure our kids are in the car seat correct," said TPD officer Debra Dickens.
Officers say previous checks have shown that most car seats aren't installed properly. After the giveaway, officers held an Easter egg hunt for the kids.
