Oklahoma voters will decide numerous local issues in the upcoming election Tuesday, April 1.  To help them make informed decisions, NewsOn6.com has created a new, interactive web page. Just click on the Politics tab and mouse down to General Election - April 1, 2008.

Local races for Tulsa, Muskogee and surrounding communities are listed.  Learn more about the candidates for Tulsa City Council.  Click a button and read the actual documents outlining proposed changes to the Tulsa City Charter.  Find out what Catoosa, Glenpool, and Liberty school districts are trying to fund.

Want more time to study the ballots?  No problem.  Tulsa County ballots are accessible in PDF form.  Web page users can even download a voter registration form by clicking on the "Vote" button graphic.  Not sure where to vote?  Click on the link to all Tulsa County precincts.

While you're on the new web page, be sure to check out some of the links to national campaign news, as well as our Explore Politics section with up-to-date information on local and national issues.  And don't forget to take our local poll!

A link to Select-A-Candidate takes users through a series of questions that may help you determine which candidate has the right stuff to earn your vote.
