It seems like there's one recall after another topping headlines these days when it comes to baby items. Now an Eco Baby store is open in Green Country where everything a new bundle of joy needs can be bought without all the worrying.

"Whenever my husband and I started planning to have children I started putting together a list of things that I would Ideally want to have and there were very few things I was able to find locally," explained Julie Bjorlie, co-owner of Lundeby's Eco-Baby Shop.

Thus the Lundeby's Eco-Baby shop was born. From eco friendly diapers to organic toys and clothing you can find it all 3638 South Peoria Avenue in Tulsa.  Before, most Tulsa residents were forced to shop online. Julie Grannis just became a mom two weeks ago and already has become an organic baby clothing fanatic.

"Just the quality of the clothes is a lot softer and are not as irritating on the baby's skin I've noticed," noted shopper Julie Grannis.

And for her it's not just about the quality of the product, but the uniqueness as well.

"You can't go to an organic shop just anywhere so not everybody's going to have this," said Grannis.

The whole point of the store is to make the community aware that the elaborate toys you can find just about anywhere might not be the best thing to purchase.

"I prefer the more simple things," said Bjorlie. "They are what kids seem to enjoy more. It's kind of like we've gotten into wanting complex fancy shiny and smooth toys. But I've seen kids are drawn to the more simple natural items."

Re-doing an entire wardrobe or nursery can seem a bit overwhelming, so start small.

"Whenever they're infants the best things to do is give them pure fabrics," said Bjorlie.

The best advice from a new mom is simple.

"Just go organic to be on the safe side/ I think this will be a huge success because there ‘s nowhere to buy this stuff," said Grannis.
