Zoo License Plate Winner Announced

The Tulsa Zoo announced the outcome of the Tulsa Zoo Oklahoma license plate initiative.  It was a close race, but the public has spoken, the giraffe design won.  Before the license plates can be seen around Tulsa, the Tulsa Zoo needs 500 applications to meet Oklahoma state requirements. 

The state's deadline is looming.

The license plates are more than just a cool accessory; they will be a great source of revenue, with $20 per plate going directly back to the zoo.  Money generated could mean a new exhibit or improved facilities.
