Overnight Traffic Fatality Accident

An 18-year-old man was killed in a Tulsa highway construction zone accident overnight.

An 18-year-old man was killed in a Tulsa highway construction zone accident overnight.

The accident happened near 31st and U.S. Highway 169. 

Witnesses tell Tulsa Police the driver of a black Dodge Neon was speeding on the highway on the wrong side of the construction cones.  The vehicle slammed into the back of a highway construction warning truck that had its arrow flashing. 

The impact caused both vehicles to spin and another car was hit. 

Police say the driver of the Neon, Jonathon Milsap, was killed and another person was hospitalized.   

No construction workers were hurt in the accident.

And another traffic accident Wednesday morning sent one woman to a Tulsa hospital.

Tulsa Police say it happened at Pine and Cincinnati just before 6 a.m. 

Police say a southbound car and an eastbound pickup truck collided when the pickup driver tried to make a left turn.  The driver of the truck was taken by EMSA to be checked out.  Police say she will be okay. 

No one else was hurt.
