High Waters Close Roads

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation reports several road closings because of high water resulting from recent heavy rain.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation reports several road closings because of high water resulting from recent heavy rain. Motorists are advised against driving into water on roadways.

Statewide Highway Closings due to high water:

Osage County
SH-20 between SH-11 and US-75, east of Skiatook

Tulsa County
SH-11 between SH-20 and Sperry

Wagoner County
SH-51 from 121st to 131st in Coweta

Cherokee County
SH-80 between Hulbert and Wildwood

Logan County
SH-33 at Cottonwood Creek in Guthrie

Oklahoma County
Southbound SH-74 between Waterloo Rd. & Covell Rd.

Canadian County
SH-4 between Wagner Rd. and SH-66, north of Yukon
SH-66 at Alfadale Rd. in El Reno

Okfuskee County
SH-48 at N. Canadian River Bridge north of Bearden

Johnston County
SH-22 east of Nida

Seminole County
SH-9A at Salt Creek south of Maud

McCurtain County
US-259A between Broken Bow Lake Spillway and Beavers Bend Park

LeFlore County
US-270 between Wister and Heavener

Pittsburg County
SH-31 from the Jct. of SH-31 and US-270 (west edge of McAlester) west to Haywood
SH-63 from Bache Road east to Haileyville
SH-113 from Canadian west to Indianola

Atoka County
SH-131 at Wardville


The following areas are being monitored closely because they are experiencing high water levels, however crews have not closed the roadway at this time:

Okmulgee County
US-75A north of Beggs high water
SH-16 Railroad underpass high water

Muskogee County
SH-104 east of Haskell high water

Wagoner County
SH- 72 between 181st to 191st high water
SH-104 from Haskell to the junction of SH-51B high water
SH-16 at Gray Oak Rd., east of Okay high water

Latimer County
SH-82 approximately 1/2 mile south of Red Oak high water

Lincoln County
SH-18 at the Deep Fork River south of Chandler high water
