Juvenile Sought In Fatal Shooting

OKMULGEE, OK -- Police say they have identified a person of interest in the city's latest homicide.

Last week, Vernon Sutton Jr. was killed in a drive-by shooting on the city's northeast side.

The shooting happened just before 7 p.m. Friday.

Police say investigators have identified a juvenile male person of interest and are attempting to locate that individual now.

Although investigators are making progress, Okmulgee Police say they are still asking anyone with information about this crime to contact the Okmulgee Police Department at 918-756-3511.
