TULSA, OK -- One man is in a Tulsa hospital after he is shot overnight.

Tulsa Police were called to 1800 block of North Jamestown Avenue just after midnight. Police officers say the victim's ex-wife entered the house with a friend. She then got into an argument with her ex.

Police say the victim's roommate then fired shots from an assault rifle to scare the visitors, but the bullets hit the victim in the leg.

The 28-year old man was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.

Police say they don't believe the shooter meant any harm.

"We really don't believe that he had the intention to hit the victim because he was his roommate, suspect said he was just firing some warning shots, with a rifle in the house," said Tulsa Police Captain Shawn King.

The shooter was taken into custody for questioning.

Police say the victim's ex-wife and her friend ran off. Police know who they are and are looking for them.
