SALINA, OK -- A Mayes County fire has claimed the life of a Salina man.

The Mayes County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as 47-year old Andrew Noble.

The state Fire Marshal's Office say firefighters first got the report of the fire at 3 a.m. Monday.

Upon arrival, they found what they believed to be a vacant mobile home on fire. After putting out the fire, firefighters found Noble's body inside the home.

The state Fire Marshal's office says a preliminary investigation indicates a campfire outside the mobile home spread to underneath the home, catching the home on fire.

The Mayes County Sheriff's Office says the campfire may have been started in order to keep warm.
