Deadly Crash On The IDL

One person is dead following a crash on the northwest corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop, near the 2nd Street exit.

TULSA, OK -- One person is dead following a crash on the northwest corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop, near the 2nd Street exit.

The Rescue Task Force responded to the accident, which happened around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Captain Michael Baker with the Tulsa Fire Department says three people were in a pickup truck when it rolled multiple times. The first fire crew found two adults trapped under the vehicle. The third victim was removed immediately and transported to a local hospital.

One trapped victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other victim required extrication with the Jaws of Life. The extricated victim was transported by EMSA in critical condition.
