Flower Shop Fire In Downtown Okmulgee

A number of downtown streets in Okmulgee were closed off because of the fire.

OKMULGEE, OK -- The Flowery, a flower shop in downtown Okmulgee, caught on fire Monday afternoon. The flower shop is in the 100 block of East 6th Street.

A number of downtown streets in Okmulgee were closed off because of the fire.

Fire units from Henryetta and Beggs assisted Okmulgee Fire in fighting the fire.

At this point, fire officials don't believe anyone has been injured.

The shop is an old brick building. It is part of the National Register of Historic Places. At this point, the fire has not spread. This is the oldest block of buildings in Okmulgee.
