Sand Springs Firefighters Teach CPR

SAND SPRINGS, OK -- Sand Springs firefighters were busy Saturday teaching others how to save lives.

The firefighters had a free course to teach both young and old how to perform CPR in case of an emergency.

"CPR is very important for the kids, for the adults, everybody to know 'cause you never know when it may strike a family member or a friend," Capt. Dan Call said. "And that's exactly what this course is designed for, so people can give aid to a loved one if something was to happen."

Call says ordinary citizens learning CPR also help rescue crews because the victim can receive immediate help.
