Police are compiling evidence of a Putnam City teacher accused of crossing the line with one of her students.

She's not been arrested or charged, so we're not releasing her name, but the search warrant goes into great detail of an alleged inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student and it may have started with texting.

According to the warrant, the suspect is a teacher at Putnam City's Hefner Middle School. The victim, at the time, was only 12 when the two of them began texting one another.

Investigators said over time, the texts became sexual in nature and the two of them exchanged several inappropriate photographs and videos.

The warrant said the teacher tried to get the student, who is now 14, to stay the night with her. That's when authorities stepped in.

Police said the two of them went from texting one another to snap chatting and even using "Face Time" on their I-phones.

The warrant went on to say as the student was confronted about the relationship, he attempted to delete everything off his phone including a new application called "SNAP SAVE.” That's an app that's used to save photos that should be automatically deleted from Snapchat. Instead, those photos can be secretly saved on a phone.

A spokesman for Putnam City schools said the teacher has not been at school since the allegations surfaced.
