Colorful new murals went up in the Brady Arts District Friday.
It's a contest between 15 artists from across Oklahoma at Living Arts of Tulsa's new location at 307 East Brady.
The murals all celebrate the traditional Hispanic holiday, Dia de los Muertes, or Day of the Dead.
"It makes it more family friendly. Part of developing downtown, be giving it a facelift, you know making it comfortable so people don't think it's a bad neighborhood or that it's not safe. It's aesthetically beautiful," said artist Taylor Hull.
Each artist has three days to bring their murals to life.
They'll be judged on the Day of the Dead, November 1.
