Will Sooners Dillon Gabriel And Jalil Farooq Play Against TCU?

Preliminary good news on the injury front from OU coach Brent Venables. 

Opening his presser he said to both quarterback Dillon Gabriel & wide receiver Jalil Farooq "Will, if they continue to progress throughout the week, be available this weekend." 

Adding Booker T corner Gentry Williams is expected back Friday against TCU.

OU defensive back Billy Bowman is the Big-12 Conference defensive player of the week and well after having a game-changing 100-yard pick-six in Provo recognition is to be expected. Bowman is having a breakout season he's playing faster, more physically, and more confident. He's second in the nation with five interceptions two of those four touchdowns. And he was just voted in as a permanent Captain by his teammates. 

“There's nobody that's more highly invested than Billy. Billy loves Oklahoma. He loves to play. He's hard on himself and puts a tremendous amount on himself. He wants to serve his team well and wants to serve his coaches well. [He’s] easy to coach, always locked in, but a lot of fun to see him grow and mature,” said Brent Venables.

 Billy and his fellow defensive backs are in for quite the test on Friday. TCU slung the rock for over 430 yards this weekend. That'll be a matchup to keep your eye on in Norman.
