Trav’s Wild Weather Camp is a fun and interactive weather safety program developed by News On 6 Chief Meteorologist, Travis Meyer, and designed for Oklahoma school children from Pre K – 6th grade.

Travis, the News On 6 Weather Team, and several News On 6 staff members travel around eastern Oklahoma and present the FREE, 45 minute program to elementary school students. The presentation is designed to teach kids about severe weather events and what to do in different scenarios, so they are not afraid.

If you are interested in hosting “Trav’s Wild Weather Camp” at your school, please fill out the request form below. The shows typically begin the last week in January and run until Spring Break in March. Shows are held Tuesdays and Thursdays, with two shows each day - a morning show and an afternoon show. Of course, severe weather is a big factor during this period, so we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a show based upon inclement weather.

*The Spring 2014 schedule is currently full, but we are taking applications for Spring 2015.
