Trav's Wild Weather Camp '11 Tour

News on 6 Chief Meteorologist , Travis Meyer, is bringing weather safety to Oklahoma school children with "Trav's Wild Weather Camp" and will be making stops at 18 elementary schools during the months of January, February and March .

Travis Meyer and his team are traveling around Oklahoma presenting weather safety precautions through a series of fun, interactive experiments and demonstrations. Students will participate as Meyer presents his own display of lightning, flood and tornado exhibits. The exhibits, designed to help students understand the why's and how's of weather safety, are presented in an appealing, kid-friendly manner.

The newest member of the team "Radar the Weather Dog" is also on hand to demonstrate that weather safety is important for everyone, even our four-legged friends.
