Police are investigating an early morning burglary that ended in gunshots.

A woman head something inside her home near 500 E. 48th St. North around 1:30 Wednesday morning, police said. Her husband went to check out the noise and came face to face with a burglary suspect.

He exchanged gunfire with the suspect, said police.

Two men were seen leaving the home.

A possible suspect showed up at a Tulsa hospital later in the morning with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
