(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The number of on-the-job deaths in Oklahoma is up by 40%.

The state Labor Department says 115 people died in work-related accidents last year, up from 82 in 2000.

The number of work-related deaths in the construction industry had the biggest increase, from eleven deaths in 2000 to 33 in 2001.
