Tulsa Police ID Body Found In Bag
TULSA, OK -- The victim of the city's 23rd homicide of the year has been identified.
Tulsa Police say the victim is 37-year-old Lisa Bollaert of Syracuse, New York.
Police say the victim's body was dumped in the 7900 block of South Elwood Avenue.
Bollaert was last seen Tuesday in Sand Springs, according to homicide detectives. Police say Bollaert's body was found in a plastic bag in the front yard of a home Wednesday afternoon.
Tulsa Police say the victim apparently hitchhiked to Oklahoma last month.
Anyone with information about Bollaert's activities and a person who was seen driving slowly past the house on Elwood just before the body was found on Wednesday to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
The driver is described as a white man in his 40s or 50s with collar-length, brown hair and a scruffy beard.
Police say he was driving a 1970s-model beat-up Chevy pickup with no hubcaps.
