TULSA, OK -- Tulsa's mayor says the city has also suffered a significant hit.  She's looking for ways to cut city spending by $5 million more.

Tulsa's already cut 100 positions, eliminated most travel and training funds, and given employees four-days of unpaid leave.

"I said it would be a bumpy ride.  I would say it's gonna be a very rough year.  We're seeing the national economy look like it's about to head out. We don't know whether we're at the bottom or not," said Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor.

Mayor Taylor is considering cutting city cell phones and employees' parking subsidies.  She insists public safety remains her top funding priority.
